Jason is a Principal at Montgomery Sisam. Jason has developed an interest and area of expertise in higher education, healthcare, urban infrastructure, and supportive housing.  Projects demonstrate a commitment to socially responsible, environmentally sustainable architecture that serves the best interests of their community and city . Jason’s contributions extend beyond his practice, working with several industry organisations to support positive, inclusive urban development. He is also a committee member of the Urban Land Institute of Toronto, and previously served as a member of the Stakeholder Advisory Committee (SAC), providing advice, feedback and guidance to the City of Toronto and Waterfront Toronto for various assessments and studies in the city.

Jason has been involved with the TSA since 2010. Over the past decade, he has contributed to numerous TSA initiatives, including the Urban Design Forum, Doors Open, Studio tours, Building Tours and the annual TSA BASH. He served as Treasurer from 2011 to 2012, Vice Chair from 2013 to 2014 , Chair from 2014 to 2016, and Past Chair from 2017 to 2019. Currently, Jason is involved in the K-12 Outreach initiative, as he strongly believes that the K-12 Outreach plays an important role in encouraging diversity within the design field.

Volunteering gives me an opportunity to meet like minded individuals within our community and a way to give back. I strongly believe that TSA has an advocacy role within our city as it is going through rapid growth – to encourage responsible sustainable developments.
