Join the RAIC Emerging Practitioners (EP) for the returning National Building Code live continuing education webinars available across Canada, with Part 3 and Part 9 in September.
New this year, the RAIC EP will be hosting a live ExAC Q&A webinar in October!
These webinars are designed to bridge the gap between architectural education and practice; providing practical knowledge and experience aligned with the Internship in Architecture (IAP) program’s requirements.
National Building Code of Canada Part 3
NBC Part 3 Fire Protection, Occupant Safety, and Accessibility will be presented by Megan Nicoletti, a partner at CodeNext, a building and fire code firm.
The two-day session will provide a large body of information condensed into four-hours per day with a half-hour break.
This webinar will be broadcast live on Saturday, September 14, from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. EST and Sunday, September 15, from 11 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. EST.
The deadline for registration is Monday, September 9 at 5:00 p.m. EST.
National Building Code of Canada Part 9
NBC Part 9 Housing and Small Buildings will be presented by experts from Vortex Fire Consulting, Moses Structural Engineers, and Passive House 43 Architecture. This webinar will cover the Health, Egress, Structural, and Building Envelope sections.
This two-day session will provide a wealth of information condensed into five-hours per day with a half-hour break.

Join the RAIC Emerging Practitioners (EPs) as they host a live information session for intern architects across Canada. The session will discuss study and preparation strategies for the ExACs (Examination for Architects in Canada) and include a Q&A session answering questions forwarded from intern architects across the country.
