Heritage Toronto is looking for three Emerging Historians to work with them on an exciting self-guided tour project as part of the City’s StrollTO program, developing a total of 30 neighbourhood itineraries with diverse points of interests.
Applicants should demonstrate a familiarity and passion for sharing the stories of Toronto’s unique neighbourhoods. The successful candidates will have a background in research and writing, preferably in history, architecture, journalism, or urban design, and a proven history of working independently to meet firm deadlines.
Due to current public safety concerns, all work will be completed remotely; the successful candidates will be required to have access to their own computer and reliable internet connection.
If you consider yourself an Emerging Historian and are excited by this opportunity, Heritage Toronto encourages YOU to apply.
